The 2026-2027 Broadway in Columbus season lineup has officially been announced, and there’s a great season ahead at the Ohio Theatre.

This year’s lineup includes 10 productions, featuring returning favorites like Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, and The Phantom of the Opera, along with five brand-new shows making their Columbus debut.

I had the chance to attend the announcement of what’s coming, and now that the lineup has officially been revealed, I’m so excited to finally share the details because this season is one you won’t want to miss.

October 6-11, 2026

Based on the cult-favorite fil, this new musical comedy brings over the top glamour, rivalry, and laughs to the stage. It’s one of the most anticipated newer Broadway tours headed to Columbus next season.

Maybe Happy Ending

November 3-8, 2026

This heartfelt and imaginative musical tells the story of two helper robots discovering friendship and connection. It’s a unique and emotional show that has been gaining strong buzz on Broadway.

Operation Mincemeat

January 5-10, 2027

A fast paced musical comedy based on a real World War II spy operation. Known for its clever storytelling and humor, this show is making waves as one of Broadway’s standout newer productions.

January 30 – February 7, 2027

A Broadway favorite returns to Columbus. With beloved songs, stunning costumes, and family-friendly storytelling, this is a perfect show for all ages and one many families will want to plan ahead for.

February 23 – March 3, 2027

Step into the glamour of the Roaring Twenties with this visually stunning musical adaption of the classic novel. Expect sweeping music, dramatic storytelling, and unforgettable stage design.

One of the most iconic Broadway shows of all time returns to Columbus. Featuring its legendary score and dramatic staging, Phantom is always one of the most anticipated productions in any season lineup. I’ve seen this in Toronto many years ago and excited to see it here in my city.

June 15 – 20, 2027

Inspired by the music of Alicia Keys, this energetic coming of age musical brings powerful storytelling and unforgettable songs to the Broadway stage.
